For the second time Bangladesh is going to be part of the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2016. This global event is going to be organized by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), with Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) as the host organizer for the event in Bangladesh. The event is supported by BASIS Students’ Forum & cloudcamp Bangladesh and academic partners are Independent University, Bangladesh (For Dhaka), Chittagong Independent University (CIU) (For Chittagong) and Rajshahi University (For Rajshahi). Bagdoom.com and Pbazaar.com are the sponsor of the event.
The NASA Space Apps Challenge is going to be organized from April 22nd - 24th, 2016; simultaneously all over the world. Bangladesh will take part in it with the expectation of hundreds of teams solving different challenges from 6 major themes, as set by NASA. These are- Aeronautics, Space Station, Solar System, Technology, Earth, Journey to Mars. The Space App Challenge in Bangladesh will be organized in Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chittagong. This is a prominent event and the top teams will qualify for a final global event to be held in New York. It will be an opportunity for you to showcase your work and ability to the world.
